2ND SESSION IN TÜRK METAL-MESS NEGOTIATIONS COMPLETED!
Our union Türk Metal Metalworkers Union with Turkish Employers Association of Metal Industries (MESS) in the ongoing Collective Labor Agreement negotiations 2019 to 21 October 2019 Monday was continued with the second session held in Istanbul.
At the session held at the MESS Head Office, the discussion of the articles continued on the proposal submitted by our union to MESS.
Following the 14 articles adopted in the first session, in the second session today, 14 more articles were accepted and recorded in the same way as suggested by our union. Thus, the number of substances adopted in the first two sessions raise to 28.
Our union was represented at the meeting held in Istanbul with our Vice Presidents Uysal Altundağ, Halil Faki Erdal and our General Secretary Taliphan Kıymaz with a delegation of branch heads and Collective Bargaining Office officials. MESS attended the second session with General Secretary Özgür Barut and the delegation accompanying him.
Negotiations on 4 November 2019 at 10.00 at the third session will continue in Istanbul.
