3RD SESSION IN TÜRK METAL-MESS NEGOTIATIONS COMPLETED!

Our union Turkish Metalworkers Union with Turkish Employers Association of Metal Industries (MESS) in the ongoing Collective Labor Agreement negotiations 2019 to 4 November 2019 which was continued on Monday with the third session held in Istanbul.

At the session held at the MESS Head Office, the discussion of the articles continued on the proposal submitted by our union to MESS.

Following the 28 articles adopted in the first two sessions, 10 more articles were accepted and recorded in the third session as suggested by our union. Thus, the number of substances accepted in three sessions increased to 38. The 6 articles discussed at the meeting were postponed for further discussion.

In Istanbul, our union was represented by our Vice Chairman Halil Faki Erdal and our General Secretary Taliphan Kıymaz with a delegation consisting of the heads of branches and officials of the Collective Bargaining Office. MESS Board Member Erkan Kafadar, Erol Bakan and General Secretary Özgür Barut and the accompanying delegation attended the meeting. 

Negotiations will be held on 20 November 2019 at 10.00 at the fourth session of our union headquarters in Ankara.
