OUR ESTEEMED PRESIDENT PEVRUL KAVLAK WAS RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE TURKISH METALWORKERS’ UNION
Türk Metal’s 17th General Assembly was completed after the elections held on Sunday 2nd April. 262 delegates voted in the elections and our President Pevrul Kavlak was re-elected as the Turk Metal President. In the elections in which our Vice-President Halil Faki Erdal and Financial Secretary Murat Salar did not run, our Vice-Presidents Yusuf Ziya Odabaş and Uysal Altundağ were re-elected as Vice-Presidents. After the elections, our İzmir Branch President Mürsel Öcal and Bursa Osmangazi Branch President Mesut Erdem were elected as Vice Presidents.
The 17th General Assembly of the Turkish Metalworkers' Union ended with the closing remarks of our President Pevrul Kavlak after the results of the election committee were announced.
Following the elections, the new Executive Board of our union is as follows;

Following the 17th General Assembly of the Turkish Metalworkers’ Union, Orhan Demir, President of Eskişehir Branch-1, Ercan Dereli, President of Manisa Branch- 1 and Nizamettin Bilik, President of Bursa-Emek Branch were elected as full members of the Supervisory Board; Mehmet Şener, President of Gölcük Branch, Nihat Zengin, President of Ankara Branch-3, Olcay Meriç, President of Sakarya Branch, Mehmet Ali Akman, President of Istanbul Branch-1 and Serkan Gül, President of Istanbul Anatolian Branch were elected as full members of the Supervisory Board. Olcay Meriç, President of Sakarya Branch, Mehmet Ali Akman, President of Istanbul Branch-1 and Serkan Gül, President of Istanbul Anatolian Side Branch were elected as full members of the Disciplinary Board.
